Community Investment Opportunities

United Way Suncoast is seeking applications for funding in our focus areas of early learning, financial stability, and youth success with an emphasis on our priority population, ALICE.

There are eight available funding streams across our five-county footprint. Each funding stream is linked to a specific priority area and target population. The available streams are as follows:

Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties

  1. Early Learning Investment Stream
  2. Workforce Development Investment Stream
  3. Asset Development Investment Stream
  4. Youth Success Investment Stream

Manatee County

  1. Early Learning Investment Stream – The Big Plan

Sarasota County

  1. Early Learning Investment Stream
  2. Financial Stability Investment Stream

DeSoto County

  1. Early Learning Investment Stream

The 2020 application process is a multi-step process as follows:

  1. United Way Suncoast will release a Letter of Intent (LOI). This is to be completed in E-CImpact. LOIs will be reviewed to determine if an organization is invited to complete a more comprehensive application.
  1. Agencies that meet eligibility criteria and that align with United Way Suncoast’s priorities will be invited to submit a Request for Proposal (RFP) in E-CImpact.

All Letters of Intent will open on January 7, 2020 at 9:00 AM and will close January 21, 2020 at 5:00 PM. Late submissions will not be accepted.
