TAMPA, FL – April 29, 2020 – United Way Suncoast is please to announce that it will receive $30,000 in emergency funding to its COVID-19 Relieve and Recovery Fund from Beach Community Bank to provide much needed immediate emergency relief to individuals and families dealing with this current global pandemic.
“United Way Suncoast, our donors, and volunteers are working hard to serve our community at a time of greatest need. Our region’s business community and many generous individuals have contributed to our COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund to ensure that we have the immediate resources to support the most vulnerable in our community and we are truly grateful for the generous support of Beach Community Bank during this critical time,” says United Way CEO Jessica Muroff.
Beach Community Bank announced a $100,0000 donation to multiple United Way organizations. This contribution will support their efforts in the communities served by Beach Community Bank by strengthening their COVID-19 Relief Fund which is targeted to assist low income families affected by COVID-19. The donation funds will be derived from a combination of Beach’s lending fee proceeds, philanthropic budget, and a $25,000 personal donation from Beach President & CEO Chip Reeves.”
