To our TSA, CBP and FAA Employees –

You are an integral part of the Tampa International Airport (TPA) family, and we appreciate all that you do to keep our travelers and our country safe. The Aviation Authority team, in collaboration with our community partners, airlines and tenants has put together a number of initiatives that may be of assistance to you during the Federal Government shutdown.

Includes a Pop-up Pantry coordinated by United Way Suncoast and Feeding Tampa Bay.

  • The Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County is making childcare assistance available for federal employees who are working without pay.

Applications are accepted in office, by fax or at the TPA Assistance Center during its midday open hours, Thursday and Friday. Required documents must be available at the time of submission.

  • We have also reached out to AT&T, TECO, Duke Energy, and other utility companies, and they have offered their assistance. Details on additional resource page. Click the link below to be redirected to that information.
  • HART has donated 31-day bus passes. To obtain a pass, please see your supervisor.
  • Humane Society of Tampa Bay provides a food assistance program for pets.
    Free pet food is distributed every Tuesday from 12pm to 3pm and every Saturday from 10am to 1pm. Proof of residency required. For more information click here.
