Together We Recover. Make it a million.

We Made It A Million.

United Way Suncoast has served our community for nearly 100 years, taking on daily challenges and responding to emerging issues such as disaster recovery.  That’s why we were able to hit the ground running as soon as Hurricane Ian passed, providing much-needed aid for our neighbors in hard hit areas like Arcadia in DeSoto County and Myakka City in Manatee County.

We invested $500,000 to provide shelter, food and basic necessities for our community and asked our corporate and individual donors to match our gift and Make It A Million  to foster mid- and long-term recovery in areas struck by Hurricane Ian.

Once again, you came through! Your gifts to United Way Suncoast and United Ways of Florida put us over our goal. Thank you for your support; we couldn’t have done it without you.

Together, we’re rebuilding and reflecting a brighter future for struggling individuals and families across our five-county region.
