We’re proud to announce our 2018 Most Generous Workplaces in the Suncoast region. The Most Generous Workplaces are announced annually and determined by a company’s philanthropic contributions to and through United Way Suncoast during the previous fiscal year. The Suncoast region includes DeSoto, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pinellas and Sarasota counties.
Combined, the top 100 organizations in the Suncoast region and their employees generously invested $16 million to help local communities through United Way Suncoast-led and supported programs in the areas of youth education, adult financial stability and support services.
The Top 10 Organizations represent nearly $11 million in contributions, including corporate gifts and employee giving.

“Each of these workplaces strive to create a culture of caring that requires an investment of time and resources by their leadership,” said Suzanne McCormick, CEO of United Way Suncoast. “In our community 45% of households are working hard and barely making it. By making social impact part of their business objectives, these incredible partners and their employees are making a tremendous difference for the Suncoast region.”
United Way Suncoast would not be where we are without the continued support of our most generous workplaces, and we’re always grateful and humbled by their generosity and commitment to making the Suncoast a better region for all.
In addition to the Top 100 organizations across the Suncoast, we also named the 25 Most Generous organizations in Manatee and Sarasota Counties. See the full lists for the Suncoast, Manatee and Sarasota here.
