Centennial Celebration Kick-off

We're Creating Transformational Change

For 100 years, United Way Suncoast has strengthened the community by adhering to undeniable mantra: Together, We’re Greater Than Any Challenge.

In 2023, our initiatives and the work of our strategic community partners impacted the lives of more than half a million people in our five-county region.

We elevate early learning, energize middle school and high school students and empower families through financial stability 365 days a year thanks to the support we receive from donors, volunteers and corporate partners. Thanks to United Way Suncoast, more preschoolers are arriving on the first day of Kindergarten ready to learn, more teenagers are finding post-secondary success and more families are finding a way to manage in this unstable economy.

Together, we work to give people the “Freedom To Rise,” and our mission creates a sense of community, whether it’s for people recovering from a hurricane or folks dealing with life’s daily storms.

Since 1924, we’ve taken pride in responding to immediate needs and bolstering our nonprofit partners to create lasting community impact. As we celebrate our centennial, learn more about our impactful work, and help us continue our service into the next century.
