United Way Suncoast seeks to make community investments in nonprofit programs focused on Education and Financial Security for children, youth, adults and ALICE families.
Starting January 6, 2025, we will begin accepting applications to our three-year funding cycle for nonprofits serving ALICE families in our five-county region. Our investments have two main focus areas:
- Children entering kindergarten ready to learn, elementary students reading on grade level, and guiding middle/high school aged youth to an on-time graduation and post-secondary success.
- Young people and adults securing employment with a sustainable wage, obtaining and keeping employment, as well as building and protecting their assets.
To learn more about our grant funding process and priorities, please review our Community Investment Guidelines – these include eligibility requirements, the expectations of funded programs, and even the application questions that will be asked.
In addition, please access the following resources to help prepare your application:
- Slide deck and Recording of our informational webinar from December 11
- An Investment FAQ derived from questions asked during the webinars
Proposals now being accepted through February 3 at 5 pm! Please access our grants portal to begin your submission. Reach out to our team at communityinvestments@uwsuncoast.org with questions at any time.
