Tocqueville Members Honored at 30th Anniversary Event

It was an evening to remember as the Tocqueville Society gathered at The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art in St. Petersburg on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the United Way Suncoast Tocqueville Society with dinner and dancing, the highlight of the evening was the recognition ceremony honoring six families and inducting five into the United Way Worldwide Million Dollar Roundtable.

The Million Dollar Roundtable is a group of community-minded donors who contribute $1,000,000 or more to United Way. This global membership group has 500 members including long-time Tampa Bay members John and Susan Sykes, Cy and Joanne Spurlino and Patricia Sullivan.

The 2019 Inductees are: James and Celia Ferman; Tom and Mary James; Bob and Cathy Smith; David and Debbie Walker; and Carol and Barney Barnett. Barbara and Al Siemer were honored with a special leadership award. To see the video stories that were played at the event, visit:
