Hall of Fame coordinators

Hall of Fame coordinatorsIt is with great pleasure that we recognize the newest winners of the Campaign Coordinator Hall of Fame Award. Given annually since 2018, the award recognizes Campaign Coordinators who have spent at least one year running their workplace campaign.

This year’s winners are:

  • Erin Fuller – Kerkering Barbario
  • Megan Townsend – Thomas Howell Ferguson
  • Ligia Luna-Shordone – Leonardo DRS
  • Melissa Alford – SouthState (formerly Center State) Bank

Erin has been a coordinator for one year and credits her company’s campaign success to teamwork. She says, “Our firm is very supportive of our United Way efforts, our campaign committee is fabulous and is highly motivated by the impact that UW makes, and our UW representatives go above and beyond to help us in every way.”

Megan is going on her second year as a coordinator and came up with innovate ways to share the work the United Way story during COVID, saying “We changed our regular campaign from touring a United Way nonprofit partner to a virtual tour to still learn about the great organizations that are in the United Way Suncoast’s network!”

Luisa has been a coordinator for three years and has this to say, “We strive to give back to our community in more ways than one, and United Way gives us the opportunity to support different causes through all the programs that they have in place.”

Melissa has been a coordinator for one year.

All four were recognized and presented with their award at the Campaign Coordinator Workshop in August.

We are beyond grateful for the hard work of all our coordinators, especially with the challenges we’ve faced over the last year and a half. Your commitment and dedication is an inspiration to everyone on the United Way Suncoast Team.
