Bucs D-Line Delivers Christmas

On Monday, December 17, 2018, the Buccaneer’s Defensive Line held their Seventh Annual D-Line Delivers Christmas event, this year surprising around 120 children with gifts just in time for the holidays. The D-line players contributed nearly $50,000 for the ultimate Christmas experience for Bay-area youth, including bicycles for every child and a Target shopping spree.

One of the local non-profit organizations through which children were selected was Operation Graduate, a partnership between United Way Suncoast, the Clearwater Police Department, Pinellas County School District, and St. Petersburg College. Located in Clearwater’s North Greenwood neighborhood, the focus of Operation Graduate is on-time high school graduation by providing credit recovery classes and by introducing students to college and work experiences.

We want to thank the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for choosing Operation Graduate to take part in their Seventh Annual D-Line Delivers Christmas event. We are so grateful for our successful partnership with them and look forward to more exciting collaborations to help our region’s children and their families.
