United Way Suncoast Young Leaders’ and Tocqueville Societies hosted the first in a series of Roundtable events on May 17 at the Armature Works in Tampa. The inaugural event speaker was Tocqueville member Jamie Egasti, Chairman of VeePak LLC, a full-service contract manufacturer in the beauty and personal care space. Egasti is also a Director of Lookbook HQ, and serves as an executive-in-residence at the Lowth School of Entrepreneurship at the University of Tampa.
Young Leaders’ steering committee members Luz Randolph and Michael Howard served as the event hosts and facilitated a Q&A with Egasti.
The lunch was designed to connect young leaders from organizations across Tampa Bay in roundtable discussions around leadership, career strategies, volunteer engagement, advocacy and more. Participants had the opportunity to network with their peers, connect with executives and community leaders and see how their involvement in community is important for their professional growth and advancement.
“Jamie was amazing! What an incredible individual. I am so proud to be a part of this group and to be able to represent United Way,” Luz Randolph said.
“I was very happy that it could bridge our Tocqueville and Young Leaders’ Society groups,” said Michael Howard.
