CareerEdge Funders Collaborative and United Way Suncoast will introduce 11 new Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to the healthcare community on Friday, May 12th at 10:00 am.
This will be the second class to graduate from the United Way Suncoast Resource Center in Sulphur Springs. To date, 18 individuals have successfully completed this course which is facilitated by Hillsborough Community College (HCC).
The CNA training is provided at no cost to the students. It is provided through a joint initiative between CareerEdge Funders Collaborative, a workforce development non-profit, and United Way Suncoast as part of their shared mission to assist families in becoming financially stable and self sufficient.
The program is one of many services and opportunities provided through the United Way Resource Center at Sulphur Springs. Neighborhood-based outreach is a key component of United Way Suncoast’s mission to fight for the education and financial stability of every person in our community.
