NIGHT OUT FOR CARING, part of the area’s largest one-day community volunteer event Day of Caring, is presented by the United Way Suncoast Young Leaders’ Society to help other Tampa Bay professionals connect
with meaningful volunteer opportunities.

Your NIGHT OUT ticket includes access to the private YLS event space, delicious food and appetizers, and an opportunity to learn more from four area nonprofits looking for future volunteers, including:

• Junior Achievement
• Feeding Tampa Bay
• United Way Suncoast

Lace up your sneakers, grab some coworkers (or friends) and get ready for fun and fitness at the IOA Corporate 5K. Taking place on Thursday, April 5th at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa, this evening race and party promotes wellness, teamwork and United Way. Form your own team or join an existing team and make some new friends. Sign-up by February 16th at a special price of $29 at ! Team Captains receive a complimentary entry!

Snacks For Success

Collect healthy snacks to help boost a child’s energy and brain power as they prepare to take their standardized tests. Healthy snacks will help keep students’ energy levels up and their brain power at full throttle. Test dates begin in March and conclude in May. Donations will be accepted through April 30th.

Snack Suggestions:

  • Packaged fruit snacks
  • Granola bars
  • Cheese crackers
  • Trail mix
  • Breakfast bars
  • Rice Krispies Treats™
  • Raisins

Snack collections will be distributed to students at Sulphur Springs K-8 Community School (HIL),
Sandy Lane Elementary (PIN), Emma E. Booker Elementary (SAR) and ReadingPals schools (MAN).
